New Year…..new challenge (and new addition)
Happy New Year guys and girls – I hope you had a great festive season and equally smashing New Year? I’ve not updated my blog for soooo long, so I thought I’d better crack on with it.
This blog won’t be a long one, just a quick message to all you fitness and wannabe fitness freaks (said in a nice way!) to ask if you’ve set yourself any goals or challenges this new year? They don’t have to major ones like running a marathon or competing in a bodybuilding show – EVERYONE is different and we ALL have different goals.
As you may be aware, I spent the first 6 months of last year bodybuilding (and competing). I procrastinated a little bit about whether I would continue but have now made the decision not to compete. The lifestyle (namely the strict diet) just wasn’t for me! The training I loved, but I did find the diet side of things difficult (especially with my sweet tooth!)
So this year I am punishing myself with a half marathon (Harewood – so very local to me) and powerlifting! I may (or may not) compete in a powerlifting competition – I’ll decide later in the year and see how my strength is progressing 🙂 I will keep the blog as updated as I can with my progression.
On another note, Peak Physical Fitness are now a team of two! My husband (Al) is now Personal Training on a part-time basis. So guys and girls – you’ve NO excuses not to get fit with us two at your tails.
